 (for 4th Graders)

What is the Proverbs
and Patriots Club all About?
In this Club, 4th Grade classmates are introduced to American patriots who displayed God's wisdom and values as taught in the book of Proverbs. Each meeting addresses a single Christian value, and shows how that value was demonstrated through the life and sacrifice of an American patriot. Beginning with Christopher Columbus and continuing through Abraham Lincoln, the course of American history is studied from the Christian perspective.

The basic thrust of Proverbs and the Patriots is to be a fun, joyful, upbeat atmosphere to learn about the Christian heritage that made this country "One Nation Under God."

Children in the Proverbs & the Patriots Clubs may receive a special T-shirt and a copy of the New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs (NIV).  During the Club meetings the kids participate in a "Patriot Game" that demonstrates the qualities exemplified by the Patriot they studied.  The meetings are always fun...sometimes wild...but always a great way to bring life to our American Patriots!

Proverbs and the Patriots Club Lesson Highlights:
Club members learn of God's providence through Christopher Columbus, peer influence through Thomas Jefferson, wisdom through George Washington, respecting authority through the Pilgrims and diligence through Abraham Lincoln. Plus much, much more.
