Teaching Children the Bible in After School Clubs

Bible Study Clubs

Fun with Faith Clubs, Inc. provides training, curricula and support for the formation and operation of Bible Clubs to reach children in grades K-middle school. This ministry has operated after-school Clubs since 1989, reaching thousands of children with God's Word. Two programs are offered for our 6 curricula - the Traditional Program plus the Independent Program.

Traditional Program
For areas with 5 or more leaders and a volunteer Area Coordinator, Fun with Faith Clubs, Inc. offers our Traditional Club Program. Under this program, our ministry team will train and assist the Area Coordinator to: recruit, train and support leaders. The ministry will provide materials and curriculum, on loan, for the program year. Dues of $40 per child are charged and each area is asked to support the ministry's fund-raising efforts. (Fun with Faith Clubs, Inc. is a 501-C3 not-for-profit ministry and dues cover less than half of our operating budget. Thus we rely on donations to operate). All leaders agree to follow the ministry's Traditional Program Guidelines, which are intended to have the greatest impact for the Lord, while minimizing problems and issues, based on lessons learned during our years as a ministry. Leaders will bear nominal costs, typically less than $40, to form and lead Clubs under this program, which they may share with Club members.

Independent Program
Under our Independent Club Program, any Christian individual, church, or organization, which agrees with our Statement of Faith and agrees to follow the ministry's Independent Program Guidelines, may purchase a Club kit.  The kit contains curriculum and training materials from Fun with Faith Clubs, Inc. to help form and lead a Bible club.  Leaders and organizations will have more flexibility in how they form and operate Clubs under this program, while receiving limited support and oversight from the ministry.

Which program is right for you?
If you live in an area where Fun with Faith Clubs already has an established team of leaders and an Area Coordinator, you may wish to join this team and use our Traditional Program, where you can enjoy the benefit of an established team and program. If you are in an area without an established team, you can still take advantage of this Traditional model if you can recruit 4 or more other leaders to form a team. One of these leaders will serve as an Area Coordinator, interfacing with our ministry team and providing leadership to the area team.

If you do not live in an area with an established team and Area Coordinator and do not wish to recruit and build a team, or if you wish to have more flexibility in how you form and lead your Club than our Traditional Program guidelines allow, then the Independent model is right for you.

Our recently published Fun with Faith Leader's Guide contains the curricula and ideas for how you can easily operate a children’s Bible Club at a time convenient to you and your group of children, ages kindergarten through 2nd grade. Curricula are available for children through grade 6, so you can continue the teaching through the primary school years.

Fun with Faith Clubs, Inc. has structured our programs to be available to Christian parents or organizations at nominal cost. Both programs should have a comparable cost to the leader and members.  Fun with Faith Clubs, Inc. may be able to provide financial assistance in some situations, based on need.

What can you expect?
You can expect support, encouragement and prayer from our ministry team as you form and operate your Club. You can expect to be used by God to make a difference in the lives of the children in your Club(s). Please pray about this opportunity and contact us if you feel led to form a Club.
