Standing on the Promises of God Club
(for 3rd graders)

What is the Standing on the Promises of God Club?
Standing on the Promises of God is the 3rd Grade offering of the Fun With Faith Clubs. These groups meet to share the joy of our Christian faith, learn God's rock-solid promises in Scripture, and how to claim them for their own lives. The children learn that being a child of God allows them the privilege of claiming His many promises and of serving Him daily. Children in these Clubs may receive a special T-shirt to wear to school on meeting day, a workbook and an original audio cassette of Scripture songs..

During each meeting the children make an "edible illustration" of the  promise studied that day.  They actually make a snack that exemplifies God's promise to them.  This is fun and can get quite creative. 

Standing on the Promises of God Lesson Highlights:
Children involved in the Standing on the Promises of God Club study the significance of God's promises.  The come to know that God promises to keep His promises, promises to be your Father, promises to stay with you always, promises to give what is good for you, promises to protect you , promises to comfort you, promises to listen to you and that He promises to love you.
